Biography

Liuhao Ma is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Automotive Engineering at Wuhan University of Technology, and Co-PI of the Combustion and Laser Sensing Laboratory. His research focuses on laser diagnostics in combustion, laser–matter interaction, sensing in complex and harsh environments, and laser gas-sensor design.

He has led two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, two major-project tasks at provincial laboratories, an open project at a State Key Laboratory, and research supported by a university start-up fund for overseas recruits. He has published more than 70 SCI-indexed papers and holds one granted US patent.
